Frequently Asked Questions
Please review the information provided below for a quick overview of the most frequently asked questions about ordering cookies and the general operation of Tudie’s Cookies & Sweets. If you can’t find the answer to your question here, please feel free to contact us!
Who runs Tudie’s Cookies & Sweets?
Tudie’s Cookies & Sweets is operated by Brittani Hoffman, RN at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Labor & Delivery. Tudie’s is operated as a home-produced bakery in the Columbus, Ohio area during her free time outside of her full-time career at the hospital, so at this time is limited to the constraints of a one-woman (and family) operation!
How does the ordering process work?
Tudie’s only offers local pickup for orders at this time.
After ordering sweets, you’ll select an available “Local Pickup Date” for when you will be able to pick up your order. If you have a specific day that you’d like to order for that’s not in the available dates provided, please note it within the “Order Notes” field, and we’ll try to work with you to accommodate your request as much as possible. Please be aware that any date that you request outside of the available dates may not be available and is subject to review.
When Your Order is Complete
Once your order is ready, you will receive a note on your order telling you it’s ready, and if you provided a phone number during checkout, a text message letting you know as well! You can then schedule a more exact pickup time with Tudie herself via text message, and she will provide the address picking up your order.
If you have any questions about this process, please contact us.
If your order cannot be fulfilled for some reason by the pickup date you specified on your order, a note will be passed along to you notifying you that your order was canceled ASAP and your order will be refunded.
Orders must be canceled at least three (3) days prior to the pickup date you specified on your order to be considered for cancelation and refund. After this time, all orders are non-refundable.
Why does online ordering on the website shut down periodically? Is there a set schedule when ordering is available?
Due to the time constraints of having a full-time career (and two young children at home), as well as the potential high demand for Tudie’s cookies 💁, Brittani can only accept a certain number of orders per week, at this time, in order to bake and package her sweet products up in a timely fashion
Online ordering is available on a rolling basis on the website; if there are openings available for ordering, the website automatically switches modes to accept orders again or decline things until everything simmers down. This ordering process allows Tudie’s to work in an agile way to keep things moving without overloading things constantly.
If you’d like to place an order, please stay vigilant and keep your eyes peeled for calls for open ordering on social media or via messaging on this website!
How large are your cookies/sweets?
“Tudie’s cookies are so big, I ate one for lunch today.”
Tudie’s premium cookies are meant to be a meal replacement… just kidding… kinda!? These cookies are quite large and use only high-quality ingredients in order to deliver the best tastes possible when you get a sweet craving. Most of our cookies can (or must) be enjoyed in more than sitting!
- Premium Cookies & Cookie Sandwiches – Our signature sweets are hefty, at ~5-6 ounces (~1/3 lb.) each.

- Edible Cookie Dough Cups – Coming soon!
So, can you ship cookies to _______________?
At this time, Tudie’s is not able to ship products purchased on the website, nor sell products outside the state of Ohio, due to cottage food law. We have every intention of expanding business in the future, and if shipping becomes an option you’ll be the first to know!
We are currently offering limited local delivery on specific dates. Please check out our Ordering page for more information!
Who designed your logo/built this sweet f*$%ing website?
The Tudie’s waving cookie graphic was originally drawn up by “Tudie” herself! The drawing was then created, adapted, and made into a proper logo by husband/designer Brett Hoffman. Tudie’s website was also designed and built by Brett, who works as a freelance designer and web developer in the Columbus, Ohio area and is available for hire.
