Some of our regular customers may have noticed some changes at Tudie’s over the month of February, in that you’ve been seeing much more of Brittani than ever before and we’ve had some sporadic hour changes happening. In February, Tudie’s went from a three-person partnership down to only two, so Brittani has taken over fully operating the bakery day-to-day for the duration of our shop hours.

As we look forward to the future, we’ve been evaluating our popular and not-as-popular times. With the start of March tomorrow, we will immediately begin operating on a new three-day “weekend” schedule to try things out, running the following hours for the foreseeable future:

New schedule starting March 1, 2023:

• Friday-Sunday: 9am – 4pm
• Mon-Thurs: Closed

A few important notes about the new shop schedule:

• We will continue to sell one Wednesday a month at the Winter Gahanna Farmer’s market schedule as well as weekly throughout the summer schedule once it kicks off, so please continue to stop by and get some goodies on these days!
• We are looking for possibilities of some evening hours this spring/summer and will keep you posted as things develop!
• To say the least: we will continue to experiment with our offerings, including hours, products, and more to best adapt and accommodate what our customers are looking for, as well as for ourselves and our personal wellbeing.

Other cool stuff:

With the most important change taken care of, we do have some other cool stuff planned too!

Tables/chairs incoming!

Out with the old: our couch is being retired. We are nearly done re-finishing and up-cycling some old dining tables and chairs for better in-house seating for customers within the shop!

Also, as the weather improves this spring, we hope to build out a small outdoor deck on the side of the shop where our customers can enjoy their goodies in the warm, fresh air at our outdoor tables. 😎

Doordash delivery is coming

On that note, we’d also like to continue to grow our operation with new offerings, so we are working on integrating our website and systems with the Doordash delivery service (at long last!) in order to offer you all more options for getting your favorite treats dropped right to you.

We’re hoping to launch this functionality sometime in March, so keep your eyes peeled for an update soon!

Seeking new partnerships

We continue to look locally at more possible partnerships and wholesale for other businesses to carry our goods, so please stay tuned for any updates. You can still grab our cookies and brownies on “off” days from either of the fantastic Sexton’s Pizza locations in Hilliard and Gahanna while supplies last!

Pre-ordering

We have plans to address a often requested feature for our website, which is pre-ordering of products, especially as we move to the new “weekend” schedule.
